Inspire Community Garden - New Visitors 09/08/2017

The ground had a good soaking the night before from the rain so I was impressed that the pond was almost at it's gunnels and there was a sudden brightness to the color of petals from the wild flowers.

I don't think I've ever been so aware of how many people use their arms, hands, fingers and even stance when they are describing something and not sitting down and stuck behind a desk at work!

It will be interesting to find the name of the black berries from a tree/shrub but it may take time?

The vegetables were growing well and the carrots were looking good to eat and seeing the carrots reminded me of the Walt Disney's Bugs Bunny cartoons.

New visitors arrived for a tour of the garden which was the second tour of the day for us.
At one point there was a discussion about recipes for the courgettes.

There was talk about recipes for courgettes and flowers to cook and one happy visitor left with a courgette and flower to go home with to make an interesting addition to the meal that night!

The growth of the Pumpkin before it changes from green to the orange colour.

Another good day in the garden..........

                                                                 To Be Continued........................
