Pauline's Brain Injury

On 19th July 2011, I suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage after a rupture of a cerebral aneurysm. I spent 8 weeks in Royal Hallamshire hospital in ITU and HDU. I was transferred to the Northern General Hospital, Osborn 4 Neuro-rehabilitation ward for a further 7 months. I was unable to talk, walk and had weakness on my right side after a stroke. In February 2012, after a procedure called a Shunt, I began to walk & talk. These are my daily activities, memories and thoughts.....enjoy :)

Inspire Community Garden - There are Fairies at the Bottom of our Garden!

I received a wonderful email:
"Just to let you know that the Chesterfield District Scout Council have sent us a donation of £170.00 as a result of our charity being the collection appeal at the cubs Christmas concert last Monday."

Can you remember that old saying "There are Fairies who live at the Bottom of the Garden!"

Well: on Sunday I found Fairy-Ville City at the bottom of the garden and what a glorious sight

You never know:
I may see a little teeny-weeny thing fluttering by this area one of these days!

Everyone was clearing away more areas now that the growing season has stopped for the winter. There was discussions about a pathway on one of the areas and they are putting great detail into things that I wouldn't even have thought about to do with this garden.
