On 19th July 2011, I suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage after a rupture of a cerebral aneurysm. I spent 8 weeks in Royal Hallamshire hospital in ITU and HDU. I was transferred to the Northern General Hospital, Osborn 4 Neuro-rehabilitation ward for a further 7 months. I was unable to talk, walk and had weakness on my right side after a stroke. In February 2012, after a procedure called a Shunt, I began to walk & talk. These are my daily activities, memories and thoughts.....enjoy :)

Inspire Community Garden - 21st August
The garden is looking very healthy and colourful, just look at the height of the Sunflowers, it will be very impressive when they all bloom. I've been looking into how to harvest and eat sunflower seeds on YouTube, it looks quite easy so I'll give it a go.
Some visitors arrived at Inspire Community Garden, they were shown the different areas of vegetables and told of what work occurs here.
You can see there's a good amount of rain water collected in the storage containers.
Lunch time.......
It's time for tea.....
WoW! this pumpkin is getting bigger every day......
If you look at the center of the picture below there is another little pumpkin just beginning to grow.
I wonder how many pumpkins shall we have grown?
It should be fun at Halloween with Pumpkins etc.
We walked through the bottom end of the garden.
I thought that this would be a great forest walk?
Great to look at the area and see the bark of the trees which has the feathery growing root of the ivy.
It does have that forest'y feeling about it and I've never personally known that having a little forest walk in a garden ever happens. I've walked through gardens and forest's, done wood walks but never done a forest walk in a garden. That would be a first for me if it ever happened?...Dream On....
Enjoy doing the facey/aka selfie.....
Our ladybird larvae.....
Below is Google pictures of the ladybird larvae
Another good day at Inspire Community Garden..............It still grows.....
To be continued......
